It is a warehouse style store. Open to the public, with no membership required. Wonderful departments for fresh cheese, produce, meats. Also frozen foods, and everything from condiments to paper goods. Good wine, liquor and beer selection. It is great one-stop shopping! Or for stocking up for your next party.
You can pay cash or credit card. (A tip: when you get to the checkout line, they will ask “Scontrino o fattura”. You want to get a “scontrino” then you take the receipt to the cashier counter.)
Our Favorite beach: Lido di Noto, San Lorenzo beach has beautiful white sand.
The Natural Reserve is also beautiful, if you are up for a little bit of a hike down to the beaches.
The Agua Beach Resort has beautiful sandy beach with full service amenities and easy parking right near the beach.

We also enjoy exploring the city of Noto. The limestone structures are striking from a distance and up close! Our favorite restaurant in Noto is Trattoria del Carmine.
We love Caffè Sicilia in Noto. Fabulous 🍨 gelato and cakes !! We appreciate the authenticity to their Sicilian roots. I recommend that you watch the documentary about them on Chef’s Table, 4th season. It’s sure to wet your appetite for their delicious creations!
Favorite Panificio in Belpasso: IL Mastro Fornaio Panificio💕 In Belpasso. In my opinion they make the best rolls with sesame. They have a wonderful crusty exterior. We visited during our video A Beautiful Morning in Belpasso .

Favorite Sicilian Cannoli —❤️Il Tulipano💕Erice In our opinion, the best cannoli in the world is found in Erice. 
We first visited Erice in 2011, and we found Il Tulipano. Since then we try to bring all of our guests there for delicious cafe, cannoli and almond pastries.
The best Ravioli di Ricotta Fritta –Fried pastry filled with ricotta cheese. YUM! Etna Rouge in Lentini, SR.
The only problem is they are usually sold out of the ravioli before 10 am! They do have superb cappuccino and other pastries, but the fried ricotta ravioli is worth our 45 minute drive!
Local fresh honey–Etna Miele in Zefferana Etna. They have a wonderful traveling store that parks at the visitor center at Mt. Etna Sud, which is only 10-15 minutes drive from our house.
I love to add Crema di Nocciole al miele (hazelnut cream with honey) to my morning cup of coffee!
We also love their lemon honey and orange honey to add to our tea. Their honey with eucalyptus and herbs is great as a cough syrup or to clear stuffed up sinus! Also other nut or fruit honeys are great served with biscuits or fresh bread, or even as a dessert topping!
We serve the mixed nuts packed in honey with an aged cheese and bread. A delicious appetizer or aperitivo.
