Vegan “Parmesan Cheese”

There are some great “Parmesan cheese” substitutes available. But here is a simple recipe that is easy to put together. Nut free. No food processor needed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp fine Sea Salt/or 1/2 tsp fine Pink Himalayan Salt

Preparation

  1. Choose a jar that can hold at least 1 Cup of dry ingredients. Put all of the ingredients together into the jar.
  2. Put the lid on the jar, shake to blend the ingredients well.
  3. Taste to check the flavor. Add more salt if desired.
  4. Store in the jar (airtight container) at room temperature for up to 3 months.
