There are some great “Parmesan cheese” substitutes available. But here is a simple recipe that is easy to put together. Nut free. No food processor needed.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
- 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp fine Sea Salt/or 1/2 tsp fine Pink Himalayan Salt
Preparation
- Choose a jar that can hold at least 1 Cup of dry ingredients. Put all of the ingredients together into the jar.
- Put the lid on the jar, shake to blend the ingredients well.
- Taste to check the flavor. Add more salt if desired.
- Store in the jar (airtight container) at room temperature for up to 3 months.
